Happy Holidays everyone! This year we had some great photos submitted from family members all around the world. If you need a reminder of how our family all fits together, refer to the Family Tree. Also, if you are interested in what binds all of us together, read The History Of Pudding Island Farm.

Here's a couple Christmas pics from snowy and cold Ohio. It was just a small cozy gathering for us this year - just me and Chris with Rook coming over for Christmas dinner, followed by some baking festivities -- chocolate peppermint bark and decorated sugar cookies production! It was so nice to have Rook here to bake and decorate with. Despite the super cold temperatures and blowing snow (a couple days of below zero with -5 on Christmas Eve and wind gusts up to 50mph -- Christmas Eve services were canceled) we stayed warm and snug by the wood stove. And we had nice phone calls from both the boys (Ed in L.A. and Ken in Boston) calling in the midst of their respective holiday travels.

Here is a photo from the Winter Solstice with Xie Yong and Sawyer in our new Hong Kong apartment. Renni is in London at the moment. I got sick right before Christmas so no tree or feast or anything much for us just yet. We’ve decided to celebrate Orthodox Christmas on January 6!
Here’s a photo of the crèche Mom and Dad bought in Oberammergau in 1965 which has been with us here in Hong Kong for over 20 years. The wise men aren’t here yet. They’re traveling from afar.

It's (not) Beginning to look a lot like Christmas. We are in Vero Beach Florida at Vicky's mothers place.
If you look closely there are 2 owls in the trees. I spotted them hooting away walking by myself Christmas Day. It's a very rare site in Vero Beach Florida so I mused it was my Mom and Dad in spirit wishing me a Merry Christmas!
