From Heather Smith Xie: "I don’t have any photos of our family this time because I’ve been “working” all Christmas! I told my gang we’re going to celebrate Orthodox Christmas on January 7! But here is a photo of our Christmas Eve service in the church where I’m a pastor now. One of 5 pastors and 3 other pastoral workers who serve 8 congregations in 4 languages—English, Tagalog, Ilocano and Putonghua. I preach at all these congregations. It’s a lot of work but also a lot of fun! I really love my job."

Bonnie Sanborn and her cute pets. Bonnie's update: "So, as for us, we are in our second year in New Bern, North Carolina and absolutely love it. We will be celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary in February. We have resisted adding to our furry family but as fate will have it (and working with 91 cats), one just fit our family so well and joined us two weeks ago. Her name is Jazz and is already winning over the other pets in the house and slowly convincing Jim that I am not out of my mind."
