For 50 years, humanity’s remnants have roamed the cosmos, looking for a new home. Despite their common goal, on board Project Horizon, the last survivors of Earth are divided unlike ever before and on the brink of chaos.
Henry Dillon, a 16 year old from the Pocket, the underbelly of Horizon, finds himself having no choice but to scavenge for scraps. The corrupt Targus corporation, which controls Horizon, enforces strict social class divisions among the passengers. Henry’s life, similar to other “Lint” living in the Pocket, is going nowhere until he comes across a silly key. Little does Henry know, the miniscule object sitting in the Pocket’s collecting square holds terrifying importance that Henry cannot comprehend.
Henry strives to find his purpose in a tumultuous society that is all but broken. Accompanied by friends, family, enemies, and wit, Henry pushes forward into unknown terrain, unaware that unraveling one mystery might just shine light upon the larger issues facing his people, and maybe even deliver humanity’s ark to a suitable home.
